Hey Sewing Friends… it’s that time again!!! Feels like I just opened the Liberty Box for 2024 and the June Sew Sampler arrives a week later. This wasn’t my most favorite box, but I love some of the items included. I will most likely gift the Moda pre-cut. I was so impressed that Fat Quarter Shop included a whole pre-cut in this months box. Valued at $34! Also received some Little House pins, a creative grid ruler, patterns and some Schmetz sewing machine needles. Watch the video to see all the surprises! And of courses my bloopers. Even though there were sirens in the background, I’m fine and everyone in my building is fine too. Got to love filming with the windows open! 🙃
I’m also working on a layer cake quilt project. The design is from Zen Chic for Moda Fabrics. The pattern is called Flirtation. I’m going to be making a 36” x 36” quilt throw to add some fun color to my new couch. Once I do the layout, I will be demonstrating quilting in the hoop on my Bernina 790 Pro. Can’t wait to share that with you all! As of today, I have 4 blocks left to piece! Yay! I find time early in the morning to do sewing before going into work for the day. It’s been a good way to start my day!
