Mukwanago Quilt Show
Today was a fun day for crafting and quilting! I got a message from my friend Kate that there was an awesome quilt show at the middle school in Mukwanago, WI at a Middle School. So I made the day into a crating adventure!
My first stop was at Polkadots and more. It’s truly the last scrapbook & dedicated paper crafts store in South Eastern Wisconsin. They still carry popular paper designers and stamps sets along with lots of accessories. My friend June works at this store part time and I was lucky to see her on my visit! Do you still have a scrapbook/paper crafts store that you like to shop at in your area? In the comments below, share your favorite store.
Then I arrived at the Mukwanago Quilt Show. The middle school was transformed into a quilt exposition. There wasn’t a room, hallway or gym that didn’t have a quilt class, gallery, sale, food court or shop booth left empty. It was quite amazing!
I did visit my two favorite stores after viewing all of the quilts and submitting my vote for favorite quilt. First I visited my friends at Bigsby’s Sewing Center. Denise, Rainie and Rosemary were all there featuring Bernina machines and sewing projects. Then I went to visit my friend Kate at Barn Door Quilts. She always has such a great selections of quilt kits, precuts and notions. Make sure to visit her store in Sturgeon Bay, WI if you ever visit Door County, WI. It’s an amazing store.
Below are some of my favorite quilts I viewed at the show. It’s amazing how much talent comes from quilt making and I’m still in awe every time I view quilt is at a local quilt show.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog posts. I’m slowly catching up and keeping these pages updated. Seems like if I’m creating video content, my blog gets behind and when I update my blog my YouTube channel falls behind. We can only be at one place at a time and the most important thing is to enjoy that moment. Please share in the comments below your favorite place for quilting and crafting. I love hearing from you.
Until next time, big hugs,
