American Crafts Shopping Haul!
It’s been a while since I last blogged. That will change very soon. I’m learning how to reorganize my time so I can blog and make videos.
When I heard that Ollie’s Bargain Outlets where going to blow out $1.00 American Craft brands in their stores, I was on it!!!
I started seeing videos on YouTube about the American Crafts sale at the end of July. But here in Wisconsin, the inventory was delayed to be placed out for sale. Literally at the beginning of August is when the Wisconsin Ollie’s Outlets started to sell the American Crafts brands. So naturally I had to make it a road trip adventure and visit every store in the state, except for the Roschild store which is way up north…lol. But I went to Kenosha, Mt Pleasant (Racine), West Bend, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Neenah and Fond du Lac. Fond du Lac had the most inventory assortment with Sheboygan and West Bend just behind. Kenosha primarily had cake and cookie decorating supplies with some Singer notions. But it was still fun to visit all these locations so I could have a fun story to share with all of you.
Most everything was $.99 or $1.00 with an exception of a few bigger items that were either $1.99 or $2.99. However, that pricing didn’t always make sense. I found a We R Memory Keepers letter-set stamp positioner kit for $1.00 (normally in stores for at least $24.99) and then a small 24 6x6” designer paper pad for $1.99 (normally cost around $6.99 in stores). A large jar of decorating sugar would be $1.00 along with a very small pouch at the same cost. Ollie’s doesn’t specialize in any of these crafting or cake decorating items and they are a liquidator, so price doesn’t have to make sense. However, what ever the cost, there were ton’s of deals to be had. See some photos below of some of my finds from various Ollie’s stores.
When I was done shopping at all the Ollies’s I decided to film an unboxing of my shopping haul! I did share some of my finds with my friend Jane since she was out of town traveling to Sweden. I wanted to surprise her when she got back. Normally, I would have her join me on this kind of an adventure. When she did get back, I did take her to the West Bend location so she could experience some of the surprises. Click on my YouTube link below to watch this amazing shopping haul and there are some bloopers at the end.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my blog and watch my videos! I do have some catching up to do with my previous adventures and un-boxings here on my blog. So stay-tuned. I’m hoping my August Sew Sampler will be in my mail box when I get home today.
Let me know what your favourite item(s) were on this shopping haul. What is your favourite American Crafts brand?
Keep sharing kindness and we will see you on the next one!
Big hugs,
